. . . . UR-Energy (AMEX: URG) – Hold

Our oldest position in the portfolio, URG, has blossomed over the last year with investors returning to the uranium industry.  The stock’s up 60% for us and has been as much as an 80% winner recently.

2014 stands to be a very good year for uranium.  Not only are commodities due for a rebound in general, but nuclear energy is also in good position to pick up momentum.

Let’s hold our URG position and see if we can add to our gains over the next few months.

. . . . Hudson Technologies (NASDAQ: HDSN) – Hold

We bought HDSN in October, and it’s been one of the strongest performers in our portfolio since then.  In fact, last week the stock reached 100% gains for us!

The shares have pulled back a little since then but are still 85% winners at the time of this writing.  Basically, the stock has soared ever since the EPA issued a proposed rule change which will benefit the company (and its coolant resale business).

Since then, HDSN has also received an upgrade and blown through key resistance levels. In other words, we could be seeing even bigger gains ahead. Hang on to your shares.

. . . . Overland Storage (NASDAQ: OVRL) – Sell

We’ve had OVRL in our portfolio for roughly six months and have very little to show for it. The stock is trading right around our entry point.

There’s nothing particularly wrong with OVRL, it’s just not that exciting.  We prefer small companies with much higher upside.  And, this company just doesn’t seem to have that potential.

Bottom line, there isn’t a lot of news on OVRL and the stock doesn’t trade that much.  As such, we’re going to sell here and recover most of our investment.  Let’s use that capital on something far more exciting.
