. . . . Xencor Inc. (NASDAQ: $XNCR) – Hold 

Xencor Inc. has announced a research and licensing agreement has been struck with Amgen Inc. $AMGN, for the development and commercialization of novel treatments targeting the areas of cancer immunotherapy and inflammation. Shares of the stock rose 15% after this announcement was made.

The company also announced in September that its partner, CSL Limited, has initiated, through its licensee Janssen Biotech Inc., a Phase 2 clinical trial for CSL 362, which uses Xencor’s XmAb Cytotoxic Fc Domain.

In short, Xencor is hot on the trail of a major breakthrough on the way we treat many different forms of cancer.  Continue holding.

. . . . Kamada (NASDAQ: $KMDA) – Buy 

Kamada, a plasma-derived protein therapeutics company focused on orphan indications, announced today the third extension to supply Glassia to Baxalta Pharm $BXLT. Through this agreement, Kamada has secured approximately $50 million in additional minimum revenues of Glassia, the company’s proprietary, ready-to-infuse liquid alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAT) treatment for the treatment of chronic emphysema.

The company has announced that the supply of Glassia to Baxalta has been extended through 2018.

The stock is currently trading at $3.95 and my buy up to price is $5.00. There’s still time to make a profit with this biotech company… Buy KMDA.

. . . . Synergy Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: $SGYP) – Sell 

Since our last update of Synergy Pharmaceuticals, the company released that its trial of constipation drug plecanatide has met its target goal in a second late stage study. After this announcement, the stock rose about 10% as investors seek to capitalize on this promising drug treatment.

Since then however, we have seen a steep decline in the stock price which is currently trading at $5.89, down from its peak high of $10.15. Let’s sell this stock while we are still up and collect a profit…
