Turmoil and Trouble!

Hi all,

This last month in the markets has been crazy.

The global news perspective is out of whack with the Paris terrorist activity.  Unfortunately, this, I think, is the start of a new way of life.  It’s a global cat and mouse game between good and evil.

It’s not impacting the markets much, although I did hear rumors that the Fed might delay a rate hike because of the terrorist activities.  This is a bunch of crap if you ask me!

I’d expect a rate hike before the end of the year.

On that note, let’s look at the portfolio.

 

Position Update

. . . . Magnum Hunter (MHR) – SELL

Well, I told you that the oil trade was risky… and we’ve had our first loss.  Magnum Hunter got delisted… If you haven’t already, dump this stock.

. . . . Amedica (AMDA) – Hold

This stock is going to get interesting. The latest quarterly announcement came out after we placed our trade… the company announced flat guidance for next year.

I think they’re sandbagging… hold this for now… and if you’re really willing to take a risk, maybe buy some more selectively.

. . . . JAKKS Pacific (JAKK) – Hold

Continue holding tight to this winner!

. . . . Gain Capital (GCAP) – SELL

Let’s take our profits off the table on this one!  Sell now… the stock is looking weak.

. . . . NetSol Technologies (NTWK) – SELL

Quarterly earnings came out a few days back… Let’s sell and rack up some profits for the month!
