. . . . Golden Minerals (AMEX: AUMN) – Buy up to $1.30

What an incredible rebound for AUMN!  The share price is up 88% over the last week. The stock has gone from one of the poorer performers in our portfolio to as high as a 40% winner.  Currently, the shares are up around 7%.

Basically, the company announced it’s restarting its Velardena Mining operations in July. That’s going to give a huge boost to production.  Even better, it’s coming at a time when precious metals are on the rise, particular silver.

AUMN is back… and it could finally be set up for a big run higher.  Now’s your chance to grab the shares (if you haven’t yet done so) – we’re almost to the buy up to price.

. . . . Asanko Gold (AMEX: AKG) – Hold

Another one of our holding that’s been on a nice run is AKG.

The stock’s up 49% as of this writing after reaching nearly 60% gains this week. AKG is also thriving off the revival in precious metals. Gold has been on quite a run lately.

Investors may finally be getting back on the gold bandwagon, so let’s keep holding AKG for higher upside potential.  The stock’s still 30% below its 52-week high, so it could easily move much higher.

. . . . TransAtlantic Petroleum (AMEX: TAT) – Hold

Last, but certainly not least, TAT is just one more of our stocks that’s been on a tear. The share price is up 13% over the last week, while reaching new 52-week highs.

Overall, we’re up about 37% on the oil and gas driller.  That’s a nice change after the share price has been range bound for what seems like months.

TAT’s climb is partially due to the spike in oil prices due to the escalating Iraqi conflict.  It’s also definitely related to the addition of the stock to the Russell Global Index.

It’s clearly been a great week for TAT, and it looks like this could be the start of a bright future.  We’re moving the stock from Buy to Hold with the share price breaking above our buy up to price.
